PH stock market declines further on Omicron variant concerns

The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) slipped by 3.52 percent on Wednesday, down to 6,947.06 points, due to investor concerns brought about by the discovery of the Omicron variant. Property stocks were the most hit, suffering a 5.01% drop; followed by services with a 3.71% loss; and holding firms, down by 3.26%. Others most affected include financial and industrial companies, as well as mining and oil shed.
