The relaxing ties between the Philippines and mainland China has created spillover effects to the real estate industry as the increased Chinese tourist arrivals thrive the hospitality sector, and Chinese companies and individuals fuel pre-selling activities of residential condominium units. The sustained positive economic performance of the Philippines has maintained investor interest to the retail sector owing to the continued expansion of foreign and local F&B brands.
