5 Years After Haiyan - La Soirée for the benefit of FPUA Foundation

This year marks the 5th anniversary of the typhoon Haiyan which devastated the Philippines last November of 2013, leaving behind thousands casualties and destroyed. The aftermath of the storm in 2013 urged many individuals and institutions to rise to action and respond to the situation, thus the establishment of France-Philippines United Action (FPUA) Foundation.

Through the efforts of French businesses FPUA Foundation built three disaster resilient villages which is home to more than 1200 individuals. In 2017, FPUA launched a scholarship program which benefits the children from the rehabilitation sites. This program now supports 15 high school scholars, aged 12-15 years old.

In order to give access to more children to bright future via education, CCI France Philippines’ anniversary gala La Soirée will be for the benefit of the education program of FPUA Foundation.
